It would have been easy to stay indoors today, and after my boots filled with muddy water about five minutes after leaving home I once again had cause to question my sanity! I have been home for a couple of hours now, and my feet are still cold.
However, it was lovely to get out - and as always the Himalayans impressed with their capability. Many of the puddles (ponds, lakes, rivers?) were much deeper than anticipated.
One bonus of the poor weather was that it was very quiet on the byways - I think we saw one dog walker, one runner and one 4x4 in 2 hours or so.
